6.1 Summary of regulations, standards and references

This paragraph lists the standards and texts relating to the storage of aerosol dispensers, and which complement the rules of the art in this field:

  • APSAD rules on fire-stop structures and fire-fighting equipment: APSAD classifies the storage of aerosol dispensers as a "special risk" activity. For this risk category, APSAD refuses to issue recommendations, and requires that each case be submitted to it. There are therefore no APSAD guidelines for the storage of products packaged in aerosol form;

  • NFPA No. 30B: Code for Manufacture and Storage of Aerosol Products ;

  • CEA (Comité Européen des Assurances) recommendations;...
