6. Mistakes to avoid
6.1 Do not include mixture analyses referring to your substance.
If you are importing a mixture and need to carry out an inquiry for one of the substances in the mixture, you must carry out the analytical tests on the substance and not on the mixture. You must therefore arrange with your supplier to obtain a sample of the substance or analytical tests on the substance. Any test performed on a mixture will be automatically refused by ECHA.
