INTRODUCTION
Companies manufacturing or importing a substance for the first time in quantities equal to or greater than one tonne per year must make an inquiry to ECHA (article 26 of the REACH regulation). Until ECHA has ruled on this inquiry, the potential registrant cannot join the joint submission and submit a registration dossier to produce and/or market its substance in Europe.
It is therefore essential to identify the data you need to supply, and the level of detail required. The purpose of this sheet is to guide you through this process.
