4.1 Monitoring and measurement – Chapter 4.5.1 of ISO 14001
The company must regularly monitor and measure the main operations that have an impact on the environment (AES). The measurements provided must be reliable and reproducible.
In concrete terms, in conjunction with the AES, it will be necessary to identify the parameters that can be measured (water consumption, quantity of discharge, for example) and to set up a monitoring system for these measurements.
The equipment used to carry out the measurements will be subject to periodic calibration and adjustment. Each operation carried out on the measuring equipment must be recorded to ensure traceability.
