If we push the reasoning a little further, we realize that in the end, it's all a process. The stack (source) of a boiler on an industrial site emits CO 2 (flux) impacting on its environment (target). This is "normal" system operation. The emission of noise (flux) from an engine (source) inconveniencing the neighborhood (target) is another example. Representing them in the form of a process is fully appropriate, as is associating risk control measures with them.

The MADS-MOSAR analysis engine is therefore perfectly suited to impact studies. Specialists will also draw parallels with environmental analyses, where sources likely to impact the environment are identified, but on a more detailed scale than the impact study.
