4. The single document (for assessing professional risks)
Article R. 4121-1 of the French Labour Code stipulates that "the employer shall transcribe and update in a single document the results of the assessment of risks to the health and safety of workers carried out in application of Article L. 4121-3. This assessment includes "an inventory of the risks identified in each work unit of the company or establishment".
This document is an essential part of the prevention process. To maintain its effectiveness, it must be updated every year, and even more frequently when conditions require it (introduction of new technologies, substantial changes in working conditions, etc.).
