1. Check whether the product falls within the scope of the SDS.

First, you must identify whether you are dealing with an article, a substance, or a mixture.

• If you are dealing with an item that releases substances, then you can request the MSDS corresponding to the "releasable" substance.

• If you are dealing with a non-releasing article, no SDS can be required. This tool is specific to substances and mixtures.
