4. Check whether the substances or mixtures you receive require an SDS.

If you have determined that your products fall within the scope of REACh and are substances or mixtures, you must now check whether SDSs must accompany your products.

The SDS is mandatory and must accompany the product (Article 31.1) for:

  • the substance that meets the criteria for classification as a hazardous substance or mixture in accordance with the CLP Regulation [FIC 0158] ;

  • persistent, bioaccumulative, and toxic (PBT) or very persistent and very bioaccumulative...
