5. Our advice

5.1 Protect your employees and consumers

You need to ensure that there is no possible exposure to endocrine disruptors, either for employees or consumers.

To this end, consult the lists of potential EPs; over 550 substances are currently suspected of influencing the hormonal systems of humans and animals. Ask your suppliers for further information.

Substitute a PE as soon as possible, either with a chemical substance or another application (e.g. replace polycarbonate containing bisphenol A with glass or another plastic, in baby bottles or in materials in contact with food).
