 INTRODUCTION

Editor's note

Substances with an ELINCS number are considered "phase-in" substances under REACH. As a result, all these substances have been notified and have a registration number. As a result, there is no longer any regulatory specificity for substances with an ELINCS number.

You source from within the European Union, import or manufacture a substance with a European (EC) number of type 4xx-xxx-x, or a mixture containing such a substance. You're wondering what your obligations are.

You use a substance with an ELINCS number.

  • What are ELINCS substances?

  • What are their specific regulatory requirements?

  • How can I comply with the relevant regulations? What are the constraints associated with their use?
