4. Conclusion

The organizational and human dimensions of a system are particularly rich and complex; the models available are therefore far removed from this complex reality. Feedback is all the more essential to get closer to a good understanding of the system.

Feedback is not just a way of keeping designers and managers better informed. Properly conducted, it is also a formidable collective learning process. There's nothing like it for initiating a learning organization, an inevitable feature of a highly reliable system.

What's more, experience shows that feedback is the most natural way of developing a "human and organizational factors" culture within a company or department.
