9. Our advice

9.1 Monitor your IBC and ESPT fleets

Identify your IBCs or ESPTs sufficiently with their characteristics and follow their inspection intervals very strictly.

9.2 Use only pressure vessels marked "Pi" or "UN".

There is both old equipment in circulation which has not been re-evaluated for the "Pi" marking, and equipment from non-EU countries which does not have the "UN" marking, such as American equipment marked "US DOT".
