5.1 Participate and anticipate

Two consultation periods are proposed during this process. They allow :

  • for stakeholders (citizens, organizations, industries, authorities) to contribute and make their interests and limits known on a case-by-case basis;

  • for ECHA to identify and take into account in the appraisal any data useful for the decision.

The first consultation (phase 1) concerns the content of the proposed Annex XV-SVHC dossier, and calls for comments on the hazard characteristics of the substances, as well as on uses, tonnages, population exposure, identified alternatives, etc. The second consultation (phase 2) concerns the content of the proposed Annex XV-SVHC...
