5. Drafting SDS annexes for REACh-registered components

If your mixture contains one or more substances which have been the subject of REACh registration dossiers with exposure scenarios (summarized as annexes to their SDS), you may be required to pass this information on to future users. There are several ways of doing this.

Note

The articles detailing these information transmission obligations can be found in Title VI of REACh.

5.1 The "annex" solution

This involves attaching the SDS appendices for the components concerned as received, and repeating the key information, substance by substance, in the body of the SDS, mainly in sections 7 (handling and storage) and 8 (exposure controls/personal protection).
