3. Purpose and content of the treaty

The aim of the "Bioprocesses" treatise is to provide a comprehensive and constantly updated overview of the industrial application of living tools: higher cells, micro-organisms, enzymes and biomolecules. It aims to provide the basis for an accessible yet precise understanding of how these tools are constituted and function, and how their mechanisms are regulated.

The editorial committee of this treatise has been, and will continue to be, committed to calling on the best French-speaking professionals for impacting, evolving or emerging themes. The treatise is therefore made up of dossiers written by specialists in the various sectors. It will be constantly supplemented and updated in the fields of agri-food, the environment, analysis and control, health, chemistry and materials, or any other emerging sector.
