7. Conclusion

The new-generation Turboxal-2™ is a device that perfectly meets the objectives of the study: to push back the clogging point while maintaining good transfer performance. The simplification of the system (two agitation mobiles instead of three) also reduces manufacturing costs.

Industrial extrapolation confirmed the trends observed on the Turboxal-2™ model, and even exceeded forecasts, since not only the oxygen flow rates injected, but also the transfer efficiency were greatly increased. This extrapolation gave rise to the second-generation Turboxal™ T300 V2 marketed by Air Liquide.
