 INTRODUCTION

A new device designed to oxygenate and stir biological treatment basins for urban or industrial wastewater is presented. The methodology used to extend its operating range is described. The results obtained on a pilot scale have been confirmed on an industrial scale. This has led to the marketing of a second-generation system with improved performance and innovative geometry.
