4. Fuel cell system

4.1 Architecture

For reasons of energy efficiency and component life, the fuel cell system must be designed to enable electrochemical reactions to take place under optimum conditions of pressure, temperature, stoichiometry and humidity. It is built around the fuel cell to ensure the supply of air, hydrogen and liquid coolant, and to enable the evacuation of contaminated gases, as well as the heat produced during the reaction.
