2. Analytical dynamics

2.1 Lagrange formalism

In this section, the displacement formulation is used to write the dynamic equations of motion directly, based on the scalar principle of virtual powers. These equations give rise to an analysis of links and prime integrals that generalizes the previous approach via general theorems.
