 INTRODUCTION

The SOFC (Solid Oxide Fuel Cell) fuel cell is currently an extremely attractive energy generation option for the future. Many countries are investing in the development of these generators, despite a number of technological hurdles that must be overcome if this technology is to emerge commercially. CEA Le Ripault is currently developing a new generation of ceramic gaskets operating at 900°C to meet the sealing requirements of these systems.
