3. Packaging and storage

  • Packaging and receiving

    The equipment is delivered in packaging designed to protect it from corrosion, contamination and the minor shocks inevitable during handling.

    On receipt, the equipment must be checked against the accompanying documents. Any missing parts or damage caused during transport must be reported immediately in writing to the supplier (manufacturer? distributor? does the supplier have a return address?).

    Wherever possible, equipment should be left in its original packaging and with its accompanying documents until assembly.

  • Storage

    Storage must be dry, dust-free, ventilated and protected from atmospheric variations and light (UV).
