Once the number of cofactors has been defined, we move on to the experimental designs for the response surface. These are described according to their main characteristics (number of trials, variance, etc.). . We do not present complete factorial designs which, although having very good statistical characteristics, have the disadvantage of generating many more trials than the designs proposed below.
