4. Conclusion

The modeling of composite structures combines both the description of material behavior and the various representations that can be made of structures within an analytical or numerical model. There is therefore no single modeling strategy; above all, it is important to understand the advantages and limitations of each of the models used. As shown in this article, the most detailed models are very useful for fine-tuning the final details of a structure's design, but they only make sense when combined with simpler models. In fact, it is generally these simpler models that make it possible to identify overall distributions and ensure that the modeled solution is robust and efficient as a whole before the detailed models are added to make adjustments.
