4.1 Raceway characteristics

For needle roller bearing arrangements without inner and/or outer rings, particular attention must be paid to the design of the raceways. These must be of perfect surface finish and geometry.

For common applications, under light or medium loads, surface finish and cylindricity tolerances corresponding to the following values can be accepted:
