anechoic chamber; chambre anéchoïque

A soundproof room, i.e. one that is isolated from external noise and in which sound reflections off the walls are limited. It is said to be semi-anechoic when the floor is reflective.

conductance; conductance

Measures the ability of a pneumatic component or pipe to conduct a gas flow. Expressed in m 3 .s -1 .Pa -1 (ANR for Atmosphère Normalisée de Référence).
