3. How do you evaluate software?

3.1 Recognize areas of use corresponding to needs

The documentation supplied to the user must include all the information required for "controlled" use of the product. In addition to a description of the software (field of application, commercial information, etc.), this documentation must make it possible to :

  • the potential buyer, to assess the suitability of the product ;

  • to the new customer, to enable installation and commissioning, on the one hand, and verification tests of the required characteristics, on the other;

  • users to have access to documentation explaining the nature and limitations of the models implemented (theoretical aspects) and a detailed description...
