3. Brief functional description
Figure 2 shows the atypical machine discussed in the introduction. We'll briefly describe it and its main components in an essentially functional way, and only then will we look at their design. that we'll be looking at their performance (we'll need to clarify the meaning of this word in the context of machine tools) and, from there, at their morphology, dimensions and technology.
