Nanoform; nanoform

Form of a natural or manufactured substance containing free particles, in aggregate or agglomerate form, of which at least 50% of the particles, in numerical size distribution, have one or more external dimensions between 1 nm and 100 nm.

Nanoscience; nanoscience

The study of phenomena and the manipulation of matter on atomic, molecular and macromolecular scales, where (physico-chemical) properties differ significantly from those prevailing on a larger scale.

Nanotechnologies; nanotechnology

Design, characterization, production and application of structures, devices and systems by controlling shape and size on a nanometric scale.
