2. Combustion conditions

As analyzed above, the main conditions required for live combustion are as follows:

  • presence of a fuel and an oxidizer ;

  • temperature, at at least one point in the system, greater than or equal to the ignition temperature ;

  • concentration of chemical species within flammability limits.
