CP Plant; PC Plant

Pulverized coal-fired power plant.

Centrale à cycle combiné alimentée en gaz naturel CCGC; natural Gas-fired Combined Cycle NGCC

Power plant combining a gas turbine and a steam turbine, fuelled by natural gas.

Integrated gasification combined cycle power plant IGCC

Solid fuel power plant (coal, biomass...) converting the latter into gas via the use of a gasifier, which converts carbon into CO + H 2 synthesis gas in an atmosphere of steam and oxygen. The gas becomes the fuel for a combined-cycle power plant.

Oxy-combustion; oxy-fuel

Combustion of a solid or gaseous fuel with pure oxygen, usually produced in an air separation unit.
