2.1 Imposed boundary conditions

The balance equations, whatever the simplifications introduced (constant λ, stationarity $\frac{\partial}{\partial t} = 0$ , etc.), can only be completely solved if the boundary conditions are known. In the case of an anisothermal flow, these are of two kinds: mechanical and thermal.
