6.1 Set up measurement tools to collect reliable and accurate data

Observe the regulations applicable to the process of measuring energy consumption and influencing factors. These influencing factors can be various:

• for buildings, this may be the frequency of occupancy, the D.U.D... ;

• for production workshops, this may be the UDD, or the level and type of production.

Process the raw data collected to make it easier to read, filtering out outliers. Finally, create relevant averages such as moving averages.
