Building an accurate histogram of power demand in a workshop or industrial site requires several phases.
The first step is to identify the various energy-consuming machines in the workshop, along with the nominal (or partial) power ratings of each of them; these ratings may be electrical, thermal or refrigeration.
The second phase is to identify, on short time steps (hours or less), equipment in operation (nominal or partial operation) (e.g. for a milk processing plant) or shut down.
