1. Cold distribution network design (RFU)

The network is made up of all the piping and other equipment used to distribute cold by means of a refrigerant to "consumers" or "customers", generally referred to as "users".

Several types of network are possible, depending on the chosen configuration.

The design of an RFU involves the following main stages:

  • mapping of delivery points (to be defined with current and future users) ;

  • calculation of power to be supplied for each delivery point (collected by the operator from users), with or without simultaneity coefficient (important commitment curve for sizing generation);
