8. Economic aspects

The investment cost of a power plant depends on a very large number of parameters linked to the fuel, the desired performance, the processes chosen, the technical options selected, the site, the regulations, etc. A detailed study taking into account all these parameters is necessary to know the exact investment cost for a given power plant.
