6. Should vehicle maintenance be outsourced?

Maintaining a fleet of vehicles, and EVs in particular, generates costs that depend on the company's ability to self-assess, anticipate and optimize work.

To do this, you need a sufficiently large team of experts, or you can turn to subcontractors.

6.1 Who can maintain an EV?

It is imperative that an EV be serviced by a certified professional, as maintenance is carried out at high voltages of between 400 and 700 volts. Approved technicians must follow a qualification program and undergo periodic retraining. Article R. 4544-11 of the décret n° 2016-1318 du 5 octobre 2016 describes the requirements for this qualification....
