2. Mechanical vapor compression heat pumps

After all, a heat pump is a refrigeration machine whose useful effect is the thermal power released into the heat source. Its main components are therefore similar to those of a refrigeration plant whose useful effect is the cooling thermal power transmitted into a cold source, subject, of course, to adaptation to operating temperature levels.
