Composé organique volatil COV; volatile organic compound VOC

Compound generated or emitted by numerous industrial processes.

�Écart ébullioscopique�; ebullioscopic elevation

Variation in the boiling point of a solution, compared with that of the pure solvent (e.g. the variation in boiling temperature at atmospheric pressure of seawater with a salt concentration of 30g/l compared with pure water).�

GNL (gaz naturel liquéfié); LNG (liquefied natural gas)

Natural gas (composed mainly of methane) condensed to a liquid state (reduction in original volume of about 1/600)�.

GPL (gaz de pétrole liquéfié)�; GLP (gas liquefied petroleum)

A mixture of light hydrocarbons, stored in a liquid state and derived from oil refining...
