Figure 8 shows a 1-stage NH 3 -H 2 O system. A comparison with the schematic diagram presented in paragraph 1 (figure 1 ) reveals two new components:

  • an ELV liquid/steam exchanger between the evaporator and the condenser;

  • a rectifier, located at the steam outlet of the desorber (point 13).
