2. Cement-based floors

Cement-based floors occupy an important place among industrial floors.

Conventional concrete paving, where the quality of the aggregates has not been specifically selected for their abrasion resistance, does not offer sufficient wear resistance. Very quickly, under the action of traffic, the disadvantages appear: dust formation, potholes, spalling, leading to more frequent maintenance and partial or total immobilization of the premises for repairs.

To obtain a resistant floor based on hydraulic binders, we need to take action on the quality of the concrete base, the constituents of the wearing course or coating, the curing of the concrete and the quality of the installation.
