1. Air permeability

1.1 General

Controlling air permeability depends on controlling the clearance between the sash and frame. As explained in paragraph 1 of the previous article [C 3 610] , there is residual permeability at the sash-frame connection, which must be as low as possible.

As a function of pressure, air flow (m 3 /h) is given by :
