2. Calculation of ribbed sheet metal

This calculation corresponds to the situation at the construction stage, in which the sheet metal alone takes up its own weight, the weight of fresh concrete and construction loads. It must comply with Eurocode 3, Part 1.3 (see [Doc. C 2 567] ). It is carried out in the same way as for a roofing sheet, provided that the special features of a sheet suitable for floor construction are taken into account, such as bosses which, in certain configurations, can have an effect on strength and rigidity.
