3. Bonding tiles and ceramic coverings
The various types of ceramic cladding are :
fine vitrified porcelain stoneware, glazed or unglazed, frost-resistant, totally non-porous, with excellent chemical resistance and good dimensional tolerances;
drawn vitrified stoneware (glazed or unglazed), which has similar characteristics to the above, but with poorer dimensional tolerances;
terracotta tiles, which are porous and absorb up to 10-15% water;
marble, various stone paving ;
glass pastes ;
earthenware, which is porous and absorbs up to 10% water; it is only used for wall coverings.
