3. Conclusion

The importance of formwork operations during a construction project is undeniable. This provisional phase provides the link between the design and dimensioning phases and the construction phase. The durability of the structure (i.e. its ability to meet the needs of the project) therefore depends on these operations. In addition to obtaining the desired shape (walls, floors, beams, etc.), they are also the guarantors of the structure's proper functioning, provided that the concrete/framework combination is mastered (respect for encasements). Formwork technology is evolving rapidly, enabling us to meet the demands of architects (high-level formwork, etc.). They can therefore be adapted to suit the type of site and the methods used by the contractors, while guaranteeing optimum safety levels for construction personnel.
