  • Some pioneers and their projects

    The second half of the 20th century was marked by the realization of projects whose lightness can be underlined. The names of engineers are associated with them, and they were pioneers in this field. An exhibition held in 1997 at the Centre Pompidou in Paris was entitled "L'art de l'ingénieur, constructeur, entrepreneur, inventeur". The exhibition devoted a quarter of its program to lightweight structures.
