1. A universal industrial material

Pre-painted steel is obtained by galvanizing, then lacquering, thin hot-rolled, then cold-rolled steel coils of thicknesses ranging from 0.3 to 3.2 mm.

These protected steels, also developed for the capital goods industry but above all for building envelopes, are obtained directly by profiling, bending or stamping steel sheet previously coated with a galvanizing layer of around 20 µm. The zinc is continuously applied hot.

In a second operation, the coil is covered with several coats of paint, also applied continuously.

These steel trays were first used as umbrellas for industrial buildings with no aesthetic ambitions.
