3.1 Role and operation of wind beams
Wind beams (figure 18 ) play a fundamental role in the stability of the structure. They ensure the balance of wind loads in the longitudinal direction of the building, i.e. perpendicular to the planes of the portals, which have no rigidity in this direction.
