4. Assemblies subjected to shock, vibration or alternating loads

In the case of shear-loaded joints subject to shock or vibration, one of the following joining procedures should be used:

  • welding ;

  • bolts with locking device ;

  • pretensioned bolts ;

  • injected bolts ;

  • other types of bolts preventing movement of attached parts ;

  • rivets.
