Determination of the acceptability of errors in the numerical transposition of continuum mechanics models.

Validation; validation

Demonstrate the acceptability of the uncertainties inherent in the model chosen to describe the reality of a phenomenon.

Validation domain; domaine de validation

Domain in which the validity of the model in question has been demonstrated.

Domaine de validité; validatity domain

Area in which we have elements to justify the transposability of the model.
