3.1 Assembly in a factory or workshop
Some geomembranes can be assembled in a factory or workshop in the form of large sheets obtained by joining strips together. The assembly workshop may be part of the strip production plant or may be independent. The method of assembling the strips depends on the type of geomembrane (see § 3.3 ).
